PBS39 examined that question in depth Thursday during “A Community Conversation: The Economic Health of the Lehigh Valley.”
From large-scale warehouse expansion and emerging data center projects to pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly’s arrival, the live show put the region under the microscope during a period of significant change.
The panel featured local leaders, economic experts and business owners who came together to examine what it all means for the region.
Drawing on data and analysis from LVEDC, the discussion explored job creation, workforce needs, infrastructure demands, housing pressures, and both the opportunities and challenges tied to continued development.
Guests included:
- Don Cunningham, President & CEO, LVEDC
- Kassie Hilgert, President & CEO, ArtsQuest
- Sarah Lutz, Assistant Executive Director, WorkForce Board Lehigh
- Marci Lesko, President & CEO, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley
